Dive with us at the C-56 “Juan Escutia”, a warship intentionally sunk to become one of the most impressive dive sites in the Riviera Maya. This deep diving experience combines the best of wreck diving with abundant marine life and ideal conditions.
The C-56 was a Mexican Navy patrol vessel, originally part of the U.S. Navy during World War II. In 2000 it was purposely sunk off the coast of Puerto Morelos, inside the Arrecife National Park, to create an artificial reef and attract marine life. Today it rests at 27 meters deep, perfectly perched on the sandy bottom, offering an impressive spectacle both for its size and its biodiversity.
